The Fantasy World of Airbrush: The annual summer highlight
On August 23-24, 2025, airbrush artists from nine countries will once again gather in Grefrath, North Rhine-Westphalia, to showcase their art and exchange ideas at Fantasy World of Airbrush. The organizers, led by Hugo Vervliet, Daisy van den Bergh, and the AIRBRUSH STEP BY STEP team, are expecting over 60 exhibitors, some of whom are traveling from as far afield as Poland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. Once again, there will be numerous illustrations on paper, cardboard, and canvas featuring the most popular airbrush motifs such as portraits, animal and fantasy illustrations, but painted cars, motorcycles, and helmets will also be part of the exhibition. Particularly exciting are the unusual painting surfaces and objects that can be discovered anew each year and give a glimpse of the unlimited possibilities of airbrush technology.
In addition to many regular participants in the show, there will also be an opportunity to meet new talents, such as Polish artist Agnieszka Maluchnik, Petro Moitel and Lionel Seingnert from France, and Manfred Kommoss from Germany. In addition to the individual artist stands, the Airbrush Association will also present the work of its members and give visitors to the show the opportunity to try out the airbrush technique for themselves. Airbrush accessories and information will be available at the stands of Colorair Fineart & Airbrush, Spraygunner, and paint manufacturer Schmincke, and the AIRBRUSH STEP BY STEP team will also bring a selection of its books, magazines, and other products.
The Fantasy World of Airbrush will take place as part of the US Car and Bike Show, which is being held under new management for the first time this year. So it remains to be seen whether and how this will affect the two shows. Anyone who purchases a ticket for the US Car Show at a price of 12 euros (advance sale) or 15 euros (at the door) can visit both the US Car Show and the Fantasy World of Airbrush. In addition, a weekend ticket for both days is available in advance for €20, and admission is free for children up to and including 16 years of age. Both events are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
See you in Grefrath!
