Fast, precise and freehand - these are probably the biggest challenges in T-shirt printing. The textile background does not provide many opportunities for aids such as stencils or masking, and certainly not for corrections such as erasing or painting over. For anyone who paints T-shirts professionally, time is also a money factor - a T-shirt artwork should not cost the customer a lot, customers are impatient and the more shirts you create in a day, the more money you make in the evening.
The Argentinian artist Cesar Deferrari is a master of T-shirt art and - unlike most US T-shirt artists - has also mastered the art of caricaturing people and objects, which makes every single motif a highlight. He has also created some original shirt designs and tutorials for Airbrush Step by Step - so we are all the more delighted that Cesar is coming to Germany for a workshop in fall 2024. In his airbrush T-shirt workshop on October 5 and 6, Cesar will show one realistic and one caricature motif, which the participants will work on a black and a white T-shirt. The course takes place with a maximum of 8 participants in Büchen near Hamburg. Cesar Deferrari has already taught throughout South America and in Spain - Germany will be a challenge for him, especially in terms of language, but he will master it together with his wife Romina and the Airbrush Step by Step team in a Spanish-English-German mix. After all, painting is all about seeing - and even watching Cesar's work is a real pleasure!
