Iwata Gallery: One of the largest collections of airbrush works in the world

Back in February, the Airbrush Step by Step team met the Anest-Iwata Medea team from Portland, Oregon, at Creative World in Frankfurt. Anest-Iwata Medea is responsible for the airbrush range within the Japanese Anest-Iwata Group, which otherwise specialises in industrial coating systems, and manages global sales from the USA. Company president and CEO Gary Glass and sales colleague Brooke Cedros talked about the planned opening of the Iwata Gallery, which will make the company's own works and some of the 360 pictures and objects from the Ultimate Air Affair Gallery accessible to the public for the first time. Many well-known American artists, some of whom have already worked with Airbrush Step by Step, participated as instructors in the workshop events organised by the North American Anest Iwata distributor Aset USA, LLC between 2004 and 2015 and created the works as themed projects: Craig Fraser, Gerald Mendez, Mike Lavallee, Steve Driscoll, Dennis Matthewson, Ryan "Ryno" Templeton, Dru Blair, Alan Pastrana, Rod Fuchs, Ed Hobbs, Scott MacKay and many more.

The Airbrush Step by Step team was invited to take part in the event and visit the American Iwata headquarters for the first time. No sooner said than done: on 31 May, we were the first to enter the "sacred" exhibition rooms. You can find lots of pictures and an article about the Iwata Gallery in AIRBRUSH STEP BY STEP No. 76!
