Who can exhibit?

Anyone who works with airbrush in any way. That's the simple answer to a question we get asked time and time again. Some newbies may feel intimidated by the work of the “old hands,” some of whom have been exhibiting at Fantasy World of Airbrush in Grefrath for over 10 years. But there's no reason to be intimidated—on the contrary: the organizing duo Daisy van den Bergh and Hugo Vervliet, as well as the AIRBRUSH STEP BY STEP team, welcome every newcomer, and the “artist family” in Grefrath is always especially welcoming to new members. 

 “I'm not good enough yet,” Hugo Vervliet hears time and time again. Many artists judge themselves much more critically than necessary. Ultimately, Hugo and Daisy make the decision. Although they have been organizing airbrush exhibitions for decades, as ‘non-artists’ they always judge the works based on their gut feeling, taste, and common sense—not on artistic or technical criteria. 

Exhibiting at the Fantasy World of Airbrush is always a win for artists: not in financial terms, but because nowhere else can you get so much informative feedback on your art as here – from visitors to the US car show who know nothing about art, from many visitors interested in airbrushing who are struggling with the same technical challenges, and of course from the long-experienced fellow exhibitors from all over Europe, each of whom has found their own unique path to and within the technique. experienced fellow exhibitors from all over Europe, each of whom has found their own unique path into and with the technique. And when the exhibition doors officially close at 6 p.m. and the visitors have already gone home, the exchange between exhibitors, dealers, manufacturers, and organizers continues, and there are more exciting facets to discover in each of them.... 

 So if you're still thinking about exhibiting in Grefrath on August 23/24, you should take the plunge now, because the official registration deadline is the end of May. However, the organizing team is happy to make an exception for new, talented artists!
